April 24, 2008SANTA MARIA — Darlene Chavez has been promoted to the position of sales assistant at Maguire Investments, Inc. She joins the sales team of Steve Maguire, Chad Silva and Chantal Reyburn.
Chavez has been with the investment firm for 10 years, beginning her career as an administrative assistant in the back office. In her current position, she works with clients, opens new accounts and places orders for stocks, bonds and mutual funds, among other investment services.
She is also currently creating materials for the Maguire Investments 50th anniversary celebration set for this summer.
Her contacts with clients are what she enjoys most, Chavez said. "I'm proud of the outstanding service we provide and the close relationships we have with our clients. Our company has enjoyed 50 years in business, and our clients are like family."
Chavez is married to Jamie Chavez and is a busy working mom with five children.
