As president of Barnett Cox & Associates, Maggie Cox has a special talent for public relations that stems from her extensive background in communications and her genuine interest in her clients. Plus, she loves her job. Maggie has designed and implemented strategies that have created a positive image and a long list of successful programs for leading businesses and organizations throughout California. Her work over the years has received numerous honors and accolades in the field of marketing and advertising.

In his job as chief operating officer and founder of Barnett Cox & Associates, Dave Cox directs day-to-day business operations and provides strategic planning and business development services for the firm and its clients. Dave has a special knack for strategy that has served BCA clients well. He has worked 25+ years in print, radio and television, and his experience and vision are the backbone of success for his company and clients.

Scott Morrell
Business Development Manager
As BCA’s business development manager, Scott Morrell has 15 years experience providing technology, management and marketing expertise for various industries. He’s also friendly, approachable and a lot of fun. Scott identifies business objectives for clients and works to create unique solutions that bring success to them, as well as BCA.

Maite Farias
Production Manager
Maite Farias brings amazing organizational skills to her job as production manager at BCA. She’s the one who makes sure the work is done on time and within budget. Does herding cats come to mind? She’s also fluent in Spanish and is our resident translator. She has a bachelor’s degree from Scripps College and an interior design degree from the Auckland School of Design in New Zealand, where she lived for three years.

Jennifer Saxon
Account Manager
Jennifer Saxon is a Cal Poly graduate in Speech Communications. She has six years experience as a strategies and account manager, specializing in public and media relations. Her background includes media relations management for George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens and for the International Spy Museum, as well as Director of Marketing and Communications for the Marian Koshland Science Museum of the National Academies in Washington, D.C.

Media Director
Shari Clark heads up media planning and buying for BCA and brings 15 years of local, national and international advertising experience to her current position. Her emphasis on research and analysis, as well as her strong negotiating skills, has helped BCA clients save hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.
